Dehradun – Influential YouTuber and former Bigg Boss contestant Anurag Dobhal, popularly called UK07 Rider, was taken into custody by Dehradun police following a complaint that accuses him of assault, unlawful restraint, threats and theft against Raj Singh Chauhan, a relative of his wife.

What Triggered the Police Action?

The dispute surfaced after Chauhan approached the Nehru Colony police station, filing a formal complaint that outlined a series of alleged violent acts. The police promptly registered a case and began a thorough investigation.

Allegations Outlined in the Complaint

According to Chauhan’s statement, the confrontation occurred on 5 October near a café on Haridwar Bypass Road, where he had gone to meet Dobhal and his companions. The meeting, he claims, escalated into a physical altercation. Specific accusations include:

  • Being assaulted and allegedly choked by Dobhal.
  • Physical attacks by several of Dobhal’s associates, resulting in injuries.
  • An attempted vehicle‑ramming.
  • Theft of his mobile phone and a gold chain.
  • Subsequent threats delivered via phone calls and social‑media messages.

Police have incorporated all these points into their ongoing probe.

Police Detain Four Individuals

Law enforcement received a tip about a fight near Haridwar Bypass Road on the night of 5 October. Responding officers found Dobhal and his team engaged in a dispute with Chauhan. Both parties were escorted to a nearby police outpost to prevent further escalation. The confrontation reportedly continued at the outpost, prompting senior officers to intervene.

Ultimately, four people were placed in custody: Anurag Dobhal and three associates identified as Abhishek, Abhay Chaudhary and Kurbaan. Chauhan was taken to Doon Hospital for medical evaluation after sustaining injuries.

FIR Registration and Family Context

The Nehru Colony police lodged a First Information Report (FIR) based on Chauhan’s complaint, naming Dobhal and the three others. Investigators are working to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine each individual’s role.

The case also shines a light on a reported family dispute involving Dobhal and his wife, Ritika. Raj Singh Chauhan is said to be related to Ritika, though police have not confirmed any direct link between the familial feud and the alleged assault.

Dobhal’s Counter‑Statement

Anurag Dobhal has publicly denied the accusations, asserting that he and his group were the victims of an unprovoked attack. He claims his side contacted the police immediately after the incident and that he will present his version of events during the investigation.

The investigation remains active. All allegations are subject to verification, and the final outcome will depend on the evidence gathered throughout the legal process.
